Maxwell Ayamba from SEM attended the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the creation of National Parks in the UK. The celebration took place on Friday March 22nd 2009 at Castleton. 70 years ago the founding the ideas of a scheme of ‘National Parks allowing public to access the British countryside across the UK was inspired by an event called the ‘Mass trespass’, where groups of activist ramblers walked across private land.
