Scafell Residential – Walk for Health July 2017
We made it! Thats us at Scafell Summit 2nd July 2017!
14 people from our Walking Group on Sunday July 2nd 2017, successfully made it to the top of Scafell (3,209 ft) above sea level located in the Lake District National Park, in Cumbria, and is part of the Southern Fells.
We drove past Lake Windermere, which is ten and a half miles long and 219 feet deep, England’s largest lake and got its name from the Scandinavian for lake of a man called Vinandr’.
The landscape and scenery was breath-taking and we were lucky to be blessed with very good weather to help us conquer Scafell.
It was a wonderful achievement that all the 14 people will forever remember in their life-time!
